Real Orders of Chivalry and different private bodies that call themselves ”Orders of Knights”, are not the same.
Real Orders of Chivalry are governmental institutions used by almost all sovereign, recognized states or governments, for the purpose of rewarding the meritorius service of individuals. The real Orders of Chivalry are regulated in the Domain of Public Law.
Different societies, associations, clubs and groups that call themselves ”Orders” and ”Knights”, are only private organizations regulated in the Domain of Private Law, just like for example, clubs of book-readers or associations of sport-supporters, and they are not real Orders of Chivalry.
